The Model 111P single-phase PumpSaver®Plus is a pump monitor designed to protect single-phase pumps from dry-well, dead-head, jammed impeller, rapid cycle  and overvoltage and undervoltage conditions. The PumpSaver®Plus Model 111P protects 115 volt, 2 or 3 wire, 1/3 to 1 hp pumps.

A calibration adjustment allows the Model 111P to be calibrated to your specific pumping applications, thereby reducing the possibility of false or nuisance tripping. A proprietary microcontroller based voltage, power factor and current-sensing circuit constantly   monitors for power fluctuations, overcurrent and underload conditions. When an abnormality, such as loss of suction, is detected, the PumpSaver® Plus deactivates its output relay and directly disconnects the pump motor. The PumpSaver® Plus then begins its user-selectable “Restart Delay” (dry-well recovery) timer. When the timer expires or power is removed and reapplied, the PumpSaver®Plus reactivates its output relay, allowing the pump to turn back on.

Basic coyotes protect pumps and motors from running dry and from low voltage.  They trip in a fraction of a second on sensing a lack of fluid and restart the pump at any interval dialed on the timer from 5 minutes to 5 hours.  Sensitivity to running dry is adjustable and set at installation by dialing a knob until an LED is lit.  Voltage trips both off and on are automatic and instantaneous.  The low voltage trips and resets are 100v and 106v for the 115v model. The enclosure is weatherproof.

The Dole® Flow Regulator is self-cleaning and designed to deliver a constant volume of water flow over a wide pressure drop range. The controlling mechanism is a flexible orifice that varies its effective area inversely with applied pressure so that a constant flow rate is maintained.
Flow rates will be maintained to within ±15% between 15 and 125 psi. The flow rate varies due to manufacturing tolerances and water temperatures.

The torque arrestor is used to prevent motor start up torque from thrusting the pump against the side of the well casing. Think of it as a shock absorber for your well system.

Placement: The first torque arrestor should be placed 1' or 2' above the pump. Then at intervals of 75' to 100' above the first torque arrestor.
Installation:  Place the torque arrestor around the drop pipe so that each half is spaced evenly.

• Install the lower pipe clamp and tighten.
• Install the upper pipe clamp (leave loose) and then push down on the torque arrestor to spread the center portion so it fits the inside of the casing.
• Just a snug fit, do not spread it so much that it is hard to get it in the casing. Then tighten the upper clamp. It is very important that the upper clamp is as tight as possible. This will make it easier to remove the pump at a later date.

Purpose
The lightning arrestor is designed to protect motors and controls from voltage surges caused by lightning, switching loads, or power line interferences. Surges of 500 volts or more are directed to ground by the lightning arrestor. Although the arrestor may or may not take repeated surges, no arrestor can withstand a direct lightning strike or a surge of unusually high voltage.
