The Grundfos MQ isa compact all-in-one pressure boosting unit specially designed for people using rainwater for domestic supply or garden irrigation.

The MQ3 multi-stage pump works without a tank making it the easiest way to boost city water pressure, supply water from your storage tank or from a shallow well.
The MQ is a self-priming multistage centrifugal pump. It self-primes from a well depth of down to 25 feet within a maximum time of five minutes. The MQ pump is also ideal as a water pressure booster from water storage tanks or from city water supply (maximum 45 psi inlet pressure).
The MQ centrifugal pump is built for long-life, trouble-free operation. It is made from weatherproof, corrosion-resistant materials and can be placed outdoors.
EASY TO SELECT
The Grundfos MQ makes it easy to select the right water booster pump. The MQ is an all-in-one unit with two models to choose from. There is no need to worry about a separate pressure tank, pressure switch, electrical connections, fittings or any other separate items. With MQ, it is literally a matter of connecting the power and turning on the jet pump. Installation of an MQ pump is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes, which gives you more time to relax.

In the event of dry-run, the jet pump will stop and afterwards attempt to restart automatically. Restarting can also be done manually. If required, the auto reset function can be disabled as well.
EASY TO INSTALL
The M
Q pump is easy to install. The discharge connection can move up to 5° to fit existing pipework, and the compact design makes the pump easy to place even where space is limited.

Operating the M
Q pump is simple and easy. The actual settings are clearly indicated by light-diodes on the user-friendly control panel. The M Q pump has a small built-in pressure tank to ensure that water is readily available from the tap. When water is required, the pump automatically starts and no loss of pressure will be felt. It also features a built-in check valve.

Q is specially designed for use in domestic applications where low noise is a major consideration. The pump is cooled by the pumped water which eliminated the need for a noisy cooling fan. Because the pump is selfcooling, you don’t need to have free space around the pump for cooling purposes. The MQ "anti-cycling" feature prevents the pump from continuously starting and stopping when you have a dripping tap or minor leak in the system.
PROTECTIVE FEATURES

Q pump has built-in dry-run protection. If the pump runs dry, the pump automatically stops. It will then attempt to restart every half hour for a maximum of 24 hours until water is available from the source.
If more than 24 hours pass without water, the pump must be restarted manually. The auto reset function can also be disabled.

Q pump also has built-in thermal protection. If the pump overheats it immediately stops. After a 30-minute cooling-down period, the pump will automatically restart.

Q has an easy accessible priming plug for filling the pump with water before start. It also has a drain plug to prevent the pump from freezing.
